Oliver Ditson and Company, 1952. Hardcover. Acceptable. 224 p., clean and unmarked except for writing on front end page. Paper strong and mildly age-toned but foxed; there is open tear on inner lower edge of first front end page, as well as creasing and tears, open and closed on back end pages. Musical notation and lyrics for many songs popular in the 19th century--wonderful original source. Binding firm but front board is detached. Front paste down has name of former owner and label of former book seller. Faded blue boards are stained, bumped and abraded at crown of spine.
