Garden City: Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc, 1935. 1st Edition. Good. First edition, first printing from the first American to win the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1930. The book takes a look at an America under a dictatorship. Overall, this book is in good condition. Dust Jacket present with $2.50 price inside front fold. Some tears and loss to Dust jacket including bottom right of front cover, top of spine, and bottom of spine. Additional crases and rubbing. Jacket is now protected in mylar sheet and backed with paper. Black cloth over boards with symbol on front cover and title, author, and publisher on the spine. Corners still mostly sharp with a few bumps at the edges. Deckled long fore edge. Light toning, but no foxing or blemishes in the text. Toning to the fore edges.
