(Engraved by J. Rogers, after J.M. Wright, ca 1842). 160 x 245 mm (outer dimensions); 107 x 160 mm (image area). Light soiling and two short edge-tears, not affecting image area. Very good condition. The image has a caption from the verse of antiquarian Captain Francis Grose's friend Burns: "By some auld houlet-haunted biggin, / Or kirk deserted by its riggin, / It's ten to ane ye'll find him snug in / Some eldritch part / Wi' deils, they say L - d save's! colleaguin / At some black art. -" .
