Carmarthen: Carmarthenshire County Council. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1974. First Edition. Paperback. In the original publisher's glossy pictorial laminated car covers. Some light corner/edge rubbing, some very light corner creases, a little discolouration and small marks to the plain rear cover o/w near VG. Page fore-edges lightly 'toned'/tanning with age. Internally a former owners' neat name to the top of the front free endpaper. A small 'erratum' sticker inserted opposite the Table of contents, but o/w No other Inscriptions or Marks inside. Illustrated with 16 plates, (Coloured Frontispiece, the rest are b/w) 18 figs and diagrams, etc, and 14 Maps. 266 pages, including a Subscribers list and Index. Essays include 'Recent Advances in the Archaeology of Roman Carmarthen', 'Historical Domestic Architecture in Dyfed', The Carmarthenshire Possessions of Talyllychau', 'English Place Names in Laugharne', etc, etc. Overall a Good Plus to VG copy. See Images; Small, Thick 4to 9" - 11" tall .
