Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1912. First Edition . Hardcover. No Jacket. First edition, very good with no dust jacket. Grayish embossed cloth is slightly worn and soiled. The spine lettering is faint, but still legible. Hinges are both cracked, but book is still pretty tight. Color frontispiece (with tissue guard) and three other color illustrations by N. C. Wyeth. A novel about the civil war era, with map endpapers showing Southern areas of conflict.
