Oblong folio pictorial and glossy wraps. 46pp. Amply and appropriately illustrated with vintage photos, maps, etc. This fine publication, long out of print, covers the Tulsa Race Riot / Massacre / War / Disaster of 1921, now so prominently revived in current reporting. This publication also remarkably opens with a brief review of early Oklahoma with the Trail of Tears, Black troops in Indian Territory, and Black towns in Oklahoma before moving on to Black Wall Street and the 1921 tragedy. This copy vg+ with some creases along the stapled binding. Now very scarce.
