Good. 1st printing thus. 4to pictorial wraps. 55pp. Illustrated with superb architectural - type drawings of the Bain Company's products & a few photographs making wheels, axles, etc. Index. Price listed printed for each product. We grade this copy good even though the two staples of the binding have pulled away from the paper wrappers - neatly so without any tearing - and so the text block is free of the covers. Back cover has soil/stain. OCLC identifies a single copy of a similar, but not same, catalogue which is housed in the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. That OCLC listing somehow connects the Bain Co. with the Massey-Harris Co. Dare we call our copy genuinely rare? We think so.

On left side sideways block is printed, "The Black Hawk Boiler Works. From the account of George Stroehle and Sons. Checks made out to James A. Richmond in the amount of $24.00 and endorsed by him on the back, and J. W. Williams for $6.00 and endorsed by him and Toby Zanella on the back. Both checks signed by John Stroehle. Cancellations dated Jan 4 and 9 (?), 1913 on the front. Light soiling, but vg.

Most corporate lackeys to whom I've talked when I have a problem with their corporation have no idea of how sound this advice is. I hope an overpaid CEO buys this book and learns something his customers already know. Fine, like new in dj.

Oblong folio pictorial and glossy wraps. 46pp. Amply and appropriately illustrated with vintage photos, maps, etc. This fine publication, long out of print, covers the Tulsa Race Riot / Massacre / War / Disaster of 1921, now so prominently revived in current reporting. This publication also remarkably opens with a brief review of early Oklahoma with the Trail of Tears, Black troops in Indian Territory, and Black towns in Oklahoma before moving on to Black Wall Street and the 1921 tragedy. This copy vg+ with some creases along the stapled binding. Now very scarce.

A few penciled words on copyright page, "Rectum / urinary bladder / arteries..." The title on the cover says, "COMPENDS ON ANATOMY ..." First two leaves of text have right margin trimmed back carefully up to within 1" of top, with no loss of text, and with "anatomy" written above. The cut backs expose the third text leaf where is written near the top, "bones." There are one or two more pages with a margin note.
