Oversized hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, 144 pages including at least one black-and-white archival photograph on almost every page;---laid in is an envelope postmarked "House of Commons" [London] dated 1988 containing a letter on House of Commons stationery with "Lord Greenway" in ink across the top, handwritten by the author, signed by him in full as Ambrose Greenway, addressed to the previous Portuguese-Canadian owner (a ship model maker and published ship historian, book acquired from his estate);---rubber stamped name/address of this previoue owner twice on bottom edge and inside on Contents page, book very gently used, tight in binding, not a trace of shelf wear, spine gilt lettering very bright and clear against navy blue cloth covers, otherwise very clean and unmarked, pages fresh and white.
