About This Item

Signed. The late Buryl Baty was an outstanding high school and college quarterback and was drafted into the NFL. He became a coach instead. Coaching in El Paso, Texas, in the early 1950's, he not only won, but fought against bigotry toward the kids of Mexican ancestry. He died young, but the football stadium is named after him. Hall of Famers Staubach, Stallings and Ray Berry wrote testimonials. The book is in fine, like new condition. The author has signed on the half title page (no inscription).

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
