Hardcover in red cloth with illustrations in black, with title in gilt on front cover and spine. Binding is spotted, has damping, smudges, and scuffs. Spine is toned, has spotting, white scuffs. Cloth has split and is peeled back at headcap/foot. Front gutter is cracked, cords show. Notation written at top of second front flyleaf. The middle portion of the page has faint pencil marks where something was drawn and erased. Text is foxed. Illustrations throughout.
