Decorative color illustrated endpapers. Interior is clean and bright, as new. Dust jacket shows very faint edge wear, minuscule chip at head of spine. DJ in archival sleeve. 22 pp. 6.75 x 5.25 inches. This copy was likely published in the late 1990s or circa 2000. The rear flap of the dust jacket notes that Sendak received a 1996 National Medal of Arts in recognition of his contribution to the arts in America. The latest date on the copyright page is 1983.
