Original black boards with chess board blind stamp to front cover; gilt lettering on spine. Some fading to spine and end boards. Shelf and handling wear appropriate for age. Binding is square and tight. Slight browning to pastedown. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Tear to bottom of page 3 (margin, does not impact readability). Capablanca, World Chess Champion 1921-1927. This wonderful find provides strategy with diagrams.
