Handsome and tight first edition of this study by the noted businessman and philanthropist (1910-2004) whose largesse created The Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago. He boldly signs and inscribes the title page in black fineline to a Chicago politico, civil servant and one-time CEO of the Chicago Pubic Schools: "To Forrest Claypool / Good Luck! / Irving Harris / 12/3/01." Most unusual copy.
