About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 7.5 x 5. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with an inscription on the free front and fixed end papers showing that it was previously owned by a public school. The brown tweed decorative covers are also bright and clean, showing just a bit of edgewear and bumps to the top and bottom of the spine. The dust jacket shows overall light edgewear to front and back panel, but also has a large piece (1" x 1") missing from the top of the spine. Still looks good in its protective plastic cover. Synopsis: "Three complete stories for the beginning reader: Sara's Lucky Harvest, by Helen D. Olds; Milkman Freddy, by Elizabeth Helfman; and Tommy and the Orange-Lemon Tree, by Enid Johnson. NOTE: Books in the "Everyday Adventure Books ' series are "specially designed to help children in the first five grades understand the world about them.
