About This Item
Hong Kong: University of Hong Kong School of Architecture, 1955 First edition. HB, Red Cloth, no dustjacket. Folio. A group project by 4th year students of the University of Hong Kong School of Architecture into the history of Chinese drama, western drama traditions, theatres in Hong Kong, and proposals for the design of a new theatre. The text (in English with some Chinese translations) is xeroxed typescript; there are pasted in original photographs and reproduced pen and ink drawings throughout, with tissue guard pages. This appears to have been produced for limited circulation as a private rather than trade publication. This copy has a gift inscription inside the front cover by one of the staff of the School of Architecture. Very Good: clean covers and pages, binding sound; bumping to lower cover corners with split to cloth, light spine ends rubbing. Still a Good+ copy. Pictures available
