New York: Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 1989. First American edition. Hardcover. Good/good +. Signed without inscription on the title page in Fuentes' unique style. Blue board with dark blue cloth spine and silver titles. Hardcover 1st American Edition, in dustjacket. Foxing to the textblock edges and bumps and wear to the edges and corners. The interior is much better - clean and unmarked in a solid binding. Unclipped jacket is good+ with minor wear and ruffling along the panel edges - bright and attractive. 531 pp., originally released in Spanish in the 60s, it was finally translated to English and released in North America in the late 80s.

Christopher Unborn is the tenth novel by Mexican author Carlos Fuentes. Originally published by the Fondo de Cultura Económica in 1987, the first U.S. edition was published in 1989 by Farrar, Straus & Giroux.
