A clean copy, tight as if unread. Unclipped dustjacket is also very good with slight wear to the panel edges and minor scuffing to the rear panel. 227 pp., the author's first novel, nicely signed.

Signed by the author and the illustrator without inscription on the limitation page. A very good copy with a minor warp/lift to the front cover being the only discernable flaw. Unclipped jacket is also very good with light soil to the spine panel and light shelf-wear at the panel edges. 405 pp., a collection of artwork and short stories illustrating each other.

Blue bonded leather covers with gilt lettering, slipcased, the limited first edition, signed without inscription and numbered 307 of 500 copies. A very good copy, clean, straight and tight with the ghosting of a previous bookstore's price to the top of the limitation page. Unread. Slip case is also very good but with light dusting and shelf-wear to the upper and lower edges. No tears or dents. 438 pp., gilt textblock edges. A very nice copy of one of Shaw's classics.

Blue board with dark blue cloth spine and silver titles. Hardcover 1st American Edition, in dustjacket. Foxing to the textblock edges and bumps and wear to the edges and corners. The interior is much better - clean and unmarked in a solid binding. Unclipped jacket is good+ with minor wear and ruffling along the panel edges - bright and attractive. 531 pp., originally released in Spanish in the 60s, it was finally translated to English and released in North America in the late 80s.

Signed without inscription by Rick Bass on the title page, with an "Autographed Copy" sticker to the upper front panel of the dustjacket. General minor wear at the edges of book and jacket, otherwise a clean, tight unmarked copy of this novel. 208 pp., the story of the Mier Expedition and its tragic outcomes.

A very good copy with moderate wear at the edges and corners of the boards. Interior is clean and unmarked in a solid binding. Dustjacket is in good condition with a blurring or staining to the purple textblock on the front panel, and general matching wear to the panel edges and folds. 172 pp., indexed, notes and bibliography.

Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "To Tony with best wishes always, Chang-rae Lee." A very good copy with bruising at the spine ends and light wear at the corners. Text clean and unmarked, binding solid. Unclipped dustjacket clean and attractive with ruffling at the head of the spine and minor shelf-wear at the folds. 356 pp.

Prague: Czech-Moravian Printing and Publishing Company / Ceskomoravske Podniky Tiskarske a Vydavatelske, 1930. Fourth edition. Hardcover. Good. Blue cloth hardcover in Czech (no English) with gilt titles and thick stitched flowers along the bottom front third of the cover - beautiful in multiple colors, though now worn and darkened with age. The gilt titles are worn in spots and faded as well. I am uncertain if this is a hand re-binding, although it seems to be of the period so may have been a special edition. A good copy, but aged and showing some soiling and wear to the cover edges and corners. Interior is clean and unmarked, but with endpapers fading at the edges, and pages age-toned. The stitched binding is solid, but lacking tightness and the rear hinge is beginning to strain at the stitches. A handful of dog-eared pages. 407 pp. Baar's hard to find semi-autobiographical novel in it's fourth edition, beautifully ornamented on the cover.

A good plus copy with rounding at the spine ends and sunning to the front edge of the text block. Binding solid and pages clean, without marking. Unclipped jacket is good only with wear at the edges and chipping at the folds - some ruffling to top of the front panel possibly a heat or water warp (book not affected). 305 pp., the author's second book.

A good copy with moderate wear to the board edges and corners, and a knick to the cloth at the top of the front joint. Interior is very good indeed - clean, tight and unmarked. Unclipped dustjacket with matching tear at the top of the front joint region and light edgewear to the panels including minor dampstaining at the foot of the spine panel. 349 pp., a thriller from native American novelist James Welch.

Signed and inscribed, "For Betty - May Sarton" on the half-title page. A good only copy in matching jacket. Wear at the edges and rounding at the spine ends. Previous owner's bookplate to the front fly. Text block is cocked forward. Binding is solid and pages are clean and unmarked. Unclipped jacket is also good only with an open tear (about 1.5 inches) at the bottom of the rear panel. General wear to the edges of the jacket panels and some soiling to the rear panel. 384 pp., Sarton's novel of the lifelong friendship between two women.

Also on the title page is a lengthy personal inscription from to Karin from a friend. Otherwise this is a clean, tight, unmarked copy with minimal shelf-wear at the edges and corners, and just a dot of soil to the top textblock edges. Unclipped dustjacket is bright and attractive with minor shelfwear along the bottom edges. 318 pp., the author's first novel.

San Francisco: MacAdam Cage, 2006. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good +. Very good hardcover in good+ dustjacket. Signed without inscription by the author on the title page. Minor wear and bending at the corners and spine ends. All text clean and unmarked, binding and hinges solid. Unclipped jacket would be very good except for a dime-sized white spot to the top left corner of the front panel (visible in the photos). It seems to be white paint or white-out and I have not attempted to remove it for fear of damaging the jacket further. Minor wear to jacket edges and a bit of scuffing at the rear panel. 707 pp., an epic speculative novel about Mary Todd Lincoln.

A near fine copy of this book with the slightest shelf-wear to the edges and sunning to the front text-block edge. Clean, tight and unread. Unclipped dustjacket is not as good as the book with damage to the front panel - soil and a splotch of paper loss on the nest picture. 191 pp., a collection of short stories from this Oregon native.

A clean, solid copy in very good, unclipped dustjacket. 300 pp., the author's first novel.

Unclipped jacket is good with wrinkling at the heel of the spine and edgewear more pronounced at the upper ends of the folds. 332 pp., the author's third novel.

Wear to the board edges, crimping at the spine tips, and a slight ridge to the spine panel from reading. The interior is clean in a solid binding and hinges. Unclipped jacket is rubbed, chipped, and the rear panel is heavily soiled. 315 pp. Donald Heiney/ MacDonald Harris' final book, signed a few months prior to his death.
