Fine. 98 leaves. 27 x 19.5 cm. 100 labels, 81 full page and 19 multiple pages mounted chromolithograph plates. An elegant printer's sample book incorporating embossed printing as well as full color gold and silver examples. The labels present the spirit of the 19th century with a cross section of the advertiser and printer art of the period. Trade catalogues at WINTERTHUR No. 1618 describes a copy with 89 color plates. One plate has a woman smoking a cigar. The last few leaves have multiple images. Raised bands, covers decorated in blind.
