New York: Random House. Good in Good+ dust jacket. ©1955. Eighth Printing. Hardcover. 184 p. 21.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Ex library with all the usual marks. Corners soft and lightly bumped. Light overall soil. Tape shadow marks on both boards and endpapers where jacket was taped to it. Inside pages have occasional soil. Dustjacket is clean from being in library placed mylar, but has some edge wear, heaviest at spine ends and corners. Full length soft crease to front panel. Partial remains of spine sticker. Ink notation on the front flap. Large price clip. A biography of Clara Barton and her role in the American Civil War. Illustrated with two colour and black and white drawings. One of the publisher's Landmark series books for children. Ex-Library Landmark Books No. 58 .
