About This Item

Wrexham & Oswestry: Woodhall, Minshall, Thomas & Co.. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1946. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. A very good hardback book. First edition in the publisher's original light brown cloth covers, with black titling to the spine and front cover. Slightly darker colour brown to the rear cover than that of the spine and front - negligible. Lightly bumped to the head/tail of the spine - no damage just light storage wear. Internally NO inscriptions or other marks. 188 pages . Clean and tight, virtually unworn - a very nice example of an uncommon book. 45 pages of the history of coal mining in the area; Followed by 47 pages on the Collieries which were in production in Denbighshire in 1942-43; Then 90 pages (the remainder of the text) on the mines abandoned before 1942. Index of collieries at rear. Quite Scarce. See Images ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall .
