Cover: Brown paper over boards with orange cloth spine, red embossed srtwork to cover,and spine, and blak lettering to spine. DJ: in Brodart, orange and green background with red and green lettering, orange lettering to green spine, green lettering to orange back; closed tear and wrinkle to front bottom corner, two very minor gouges to cover. Posthumous collection, including the novel in progress at the time of the author's death.

Synopsis

Shirley Jackson (1919–1965), a celebrated writer of horror, wrote many stories as well as six novels and two works of nonfiction.
