Printed by B. Alsop & T. Fawcet, London, 1639. Fifth English Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket (as issued). Size: 24mo. Text contains minor marks/notes in pen. Binding is sound. Previous owners' names in ink . Rebacked, original spine and board leather with gilt-stamped spine label, 305 pages, 5 1/2" x 3 1/4". Engraved title page by W. Marshall cut down, mounted, and inserted, a little toned with some paper loss to image on lower left edge; page 100 mistakenly printed as 110. The fifth and last English edition translated by Ralph Robinson, includes the dedication to More's grandson, Cresacre, that first appeared in the 1624 edition. Edges, corners and spine ends bumped and worn, scattered staining, pencil notes in blank margins. Includes 1992 receipt from Vanbrugh Rare Books. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 2 lbs 0 oz.
