Society of English and French Liturature, January 1885. Hardcover. Fair. Beautiful bpound full set of Eliot's work. Number 779 of 1000, hand-tinted prints on frontis of each volume. 3/4 dark brown morocco with green marbled covers, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Three books have large chips missing from the spines, several others are cracking at the hinge. All bindings remain sound, text is crisp and unmarked. Illustrated.
