Text complete, stain to the fore-edge at the start and some light staining in the middle, marking to the pages. (the copy of H.E. Fox Lord Holland, 4rth Baron Holland (1802-1859), his own personal pocket copy that he carried on all his travels and assignments- the names of the places visited are written by him crammed into the endpapers (Fox was diplomat in Torino, attache in St. Petersburg, embassy secretary at Vienna, Germany and Florence).
