Group of maps, booklet, pamphlets, & cards issued by Conoco - Continental Oil Company, the owner of which lived in Yankon, SD. Although some of this material MAY be later than 1934, the "Conoco Passport and Conoco Travel Club Membership booklet is dated June 1, 1934 and belonged to Mr. H. A. Doyle. The booklet is not otherwise filled out. The other pieces: Denver based road info booklet; two unused post cards "Continental Oil Company" Presents Every Wednesday Night over N. B. C." with small portraits of Harry Richman, Jack Denny (not Benny unless it's a typo), & John B. Kennedy; unused business reply card with form to apply for publications for a road trip; a "You Are A Member" little booklet re travel club; full size but folded Conoco South Dakota map (colored roads, devices) with Black Hills Region map & U. S. map; Conoco Wyoming map; Colorado multi-page color folder; Conoco Travel Bureau Cottage Camp Directory List No. 1 Pacific Northwest & North Plains Section; Conoco Hotel directory of same region; Conoco Hotel directory of List No. 3, Rocky Mountain and Central Plains section; folding "Conoco Travel Bureau Mileage Chart with itinerary form on verso. This is folded & has very short edge tears. All in very good to fine condition. Quite a nice group for the Conoco or U. S. travel brochure collector. Scarce we presume.
