Very Good. 18.5 x 11.5 cm. 12mo. 41pp. Bound into 3/4 blue leather, gilt spine lettering and floral pattern.Original green pebbled cloth covers have been bound into the rear. Presentation copy with inscription from the publisher dated August 1858. First edition, first state as per BAL with no advertisements and the line in Arabic on page 14 not translated. Some scuffing to the spine. There is a gouge to the bottom right of the front cover. BAL 251.
