Translated, with an introduction, by Lafcadio Hearn. Decorative end-papers and title-page. First edition thus, Tours Edition, (1922). No previous ownership marks, albeit date 1923 in quotation marks written on first blank prelim. Fore-edge of pages untrimmed. A sound, clean copy with sturdy hinges, bright spine lettering and unblemished cloth. Dust-jacket worn, with several small chips and tears, some age stains and spine faded to light brown. A near very good copy in original scarce fair dust-jacket. .
