PUBLISHER - (LOCATION) / COPYRIGHT: EDWARD MOXON, LONDON 1855 EDITION: Reprint Edition with 'A NEW EDITION' on the title pages CATEGORY: Literature, Rare BINDING/COVER: Hardback without dust jacket COLOR: MULTI-COLORED MARBLE LIKE BOARDS CONDITION: The book is without a dust jacket as issued. The outside is a little rough; there is some minor splitting to the top edge of the spine; the hinges show signs of cracking but they are tight (wax/glue in seams may indicate repairs); there is some scuffing to the leather in a few spots at the corners; the leather on the spine cover has scuffing. The fore edge has a few pages that seem to have a really small screw like curl along the very edge (like something brushed into them). Someone has put pin holes around the frontispiece of Isaac Disraeli' around his head area. There is an old style name from 1856 written in ink on the first blank endpaper. The word 'Paulatim' is written at the top of the first title page. Book is without other marks or writings, pages are fairly clean and book is tight and sturdy. All the pages are present in book. The facsimile page is present but has some wrinkling and unnatural creases (from not being folded properly). SIZE: 6 ½ x 9 ½ (approximately) PAGES: 578 pages.
