This is the story of the Hurtgen Forest in the year 1944-1945. This is the little told story of these battles that took place in the forest. Why did the US generals keep sending men and equipment into this forest to be killed? The winter was one of the worst on record. This became one of the bloodiest and most disastrous campaigns of World War II. Why? Great title for WWII history buff.
