New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1939. Green hardcover cloth binding, sunned spine, light soiling, hinges good, square and tight. Foxing. Color frontispiece illustration may have been reglued in - can't tell for sure but it is secure. 1939 on title page and copyright page, but no Scribner's A, so probably 2nd printing. 306 pages, b/w illustrations throughout. A thoroughbred horse and a wild colt are thrown together and escape the humans and roam the wild rough big country. 306 pages.. Illus. by James, Will. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Very Good/No Jacket.
