Bobbs-Merrill Co, 1949. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Plus/Very Good. Charles V. John. Stated FIRST EDITION. Great Vintage Hardback Childhood of Famous Americans Book with Dust Jacket. Book is in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to have had little use and may be unread. No writing or markings inside or outside of the book. Outside cloth covers are nice with some minor soiling and corner wear. Dust Jacket is price clipped and shows some edge chipping primarily at the bottom edge with a small missing piece from the bottom edge of the front cover. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. Nice Copy and Great Collectible!
