The covers are clean (one tiny nick), the jacket with nick to the top edge of the spine and some rubbing and general signs of use. Tidy internally, faint pencil price at the top of the front endpaper, light toning to the page edges. 426 pages. The history of the use of bodies for dissection, and the effect the reform bills in the 19th century had on the supply of cadavers for dissection. Scarce 1st edition.
