Simon and Schuster, New York., 1958. First Edition (Stated). Hardcover. Near Fine/--. 8 H x 6 5/8 W x 1/4 inch. Book 338. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior NEAR FINE / Covers Very Good. Book was very gently read, back cover was hardly opened. Covers are very thick card, front full size colour pictorial of fish, spine metallic gold/brown usual on Little Golden Books, lettering white, colour ad for Giant Golden Books on back. Spine is straight, square, solid, front and back have only a tiny bit of rubbing from adjacent book on shelf, top of spine has a tiny rub through the foil, no sunning, no chipping. Covers are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, several visible very fine vertical creases in the front spine gutter none in the back, front cover has a bit of edge wear in places and a tiny rub to both corner points, back cover has a tiny rub to one corner point, back spine gutter has a 1/8 x 1/8 inch chip with paper in place at bottom, back has a visible whitish vertical line beside spine from shelf wear, back cover has a fair amount of dots of colour off especially near outer edge from rubbing adjacent book on shelf, front has very little edge wear, back has a small bit on lower board edge. Page edges 3 red. Front inside cover is cute colour pictorial with This Little Golden Book Belongs To printed as a little white open book, back inside cover is a list of Little Golden books. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, bright, flat. Pages are going a bit yellow. A Little Golden Book, original price 25 cents. Lovely colour drawings by Tibor Gergely.

IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
