First printing. 312pp., (1)pp. publisher's ad, Frontispiece and 23 chapter heading vignettes by Burroughs' son John Coleman Burroughs. The author's fourth western. A murder mystery western with plenty of gun fighting, kidnapping, love, romance and more. Bound in gray cloth lettered in red, top edge red. A fine bright copy in clipped color pictorial dust jacket showing only the slightest wear to head and corners but with an old tape repair to a small closed edge tear to underside of jacket. Very nice.
