There is a gift inscription to a former owner on the front flyleaf, but no other marks or wear. The blue cloth covers are fresh, with light wear at edges and corners. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is also in Very Good condition, with minor wear at edges and corners. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: This is the story of a young boy growing up in Diamond Harbour in the India of 1910, part of a very English extended family and very Anglo-English expatriate community.
