Extremities rubbed, especially to top fore-corners of boards; gift inscription to front free endpaper; endpapers a little foxed, occasional fox spot elsewhere. Good. Introduction by Edmund H. Burrows. Unmarried daughter of the widowed Commissary-General of the Batavian Republic, Augusta Uitenhage de Mist accompanied her father on a voyage to the Cape of Good Hope, followed by a tour of that colony. .
