In a half leather binding with calf to the spine and vellum to the extremities, and marbled paper to the boards. Externally, rubbed. A small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. Vellum is discoloured and marked. Rubbing has resulted in loss of paper to the boards. Minor bumping to the extremities. Surface cracks to the spine. Spine label is rubbed with a small chip. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age toned and generally clean with scattered spots. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
