Good condition. Blurb: 'Die staking wat meer as twee maande geduur het en waartydens nagenoeg 680 soldate, polisiemanne en burgerlikes gedood of verwond is, was 'n gebeurtenis wat as't ware moes plaasvind om spanninge wat oor 'n lang tydperk aan die Witwatersrand opgebou het, te ontlaai. Dit was tewens 'n episode in die Suid-Afrikaanse geskiedenis wat die aandag sterk op sosio-ekonomiese vraagstukke gevestig het. Nadat die Smuts-bewind in 1924 deur generaal Hertzog se Pakt-regering vervang is, is besondere aandag aan hierdie probleme - en veral die lot van die Blanke werker - gegee.' .
