About This Item
First Edition/First Printing; A Very Good book in a Very Good dust jacket. SIGNED, inscribed, and dated by the author to the front free paper. A handsome copy of this collection of 4 novellas, including "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" and "The Body" (Stand by Me); both of these stories (and Apt Pupil) were made into brilliant films, some critics say Shawshank one of the best of all time. Signed by SK to "Galena"; this PO bookplate is attached to the title page, giving this signature/inscription a nice provenance. This copy is in very good condition with a square, tight binding, bright blue and gold lettering over blue boards, and white pages throughout; the book does show some mild soiling to the boards and spine, light spotting to the exterior text block, and a damp stain to the front free paper and top of exterior text block (does not bleed through except on the FFEP). Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows minor rubbing and light chipping to the spine ends, edges, and corners, and some faint rubbing to the panel surfaces, else near fine or better. Overall, a highly presentable and collectible copy, greatly enhanced by the author's signature. Not remaindered, not price clipped, not ex-library; in a protective Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
We fully guarantee all of our signed books for authenticity; we accept lifetime returns for authenticity reasons, assuming book is returned in same condition.
