About This Item
Published by W. H. Allen, London;1954. 8vo. First edition. Condition: Near Fine/Very Good.
Bound in original black cloth boards, other than some rubbing to the boards, the binding is in very smart condition, tight and square. Inside, the pages are clean and bright with just a touch of toning to the edges.
The book is housed in it's original unclipped jacket. There is shelf wear and chipping to the edges, predominantly the top edge, with a little loss in a couple of places. There is foxing to the rear panel. Apart from these points, the jacket is in very good condition.
Overall this is a smart example of this modern first by André Soubiran, which would sit well on any shelf.
