Boston: J. Draper, for D. Henchman, 1742. Estimated publication date 1742, first American edition, third edition overall. Imperfect copy with title page absent and other faults, appears to be the third edition printed in Boston by J. Draper, for D. Henchman, 1742. Brown leather over wooden boards, 14.5 cm tall. Very worn, with title page the only leaf absent other than free endpapers, Epistle to the Reader present with title included on first page of text, x, 215, [1]p. Covers chipped with much of underlying wood absent, pages darkened and heavily worn around the edges, occasional old dampstains, closed tear to page 65/66 with no loss of text, chip to outer margin of page 201-2 with some very minor loss of text. Names and notes on pastedowns and final blank including gift notation dated 1776.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Poor. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
