CONTENTS: title page with cast; Mockers of Death (essay on the sources and structure of the production, translated by Alan Stark), a set of color plates juxtaposing historical paintings with related photographs (hand-painted by Arturo Noguerat) from the production [Venus pleurant Adonis (anonymous), San Sebastian (Mantegna), Nymphes (anonymous), Gabrielle D'Estrees et une de ses souers, Pieta (Michelangelo), Olympia (Manet), Venus (Botticelli), Les objets familier (Magritte), Santa Teresa (Bernini), Bacanal (Tiziano); Acknowledgements; 32 un-numbered pages. CONDITION: a bright, solid, unmarked, uncreased copy with negligible shelf-wear, compromised only by a bit of foxing on the dust cover (see accompanying scan image). This handsome copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
