The interior of the book is crisp and clean, without even the name of a former owner. The purple covers are fresh and clean, with minor wear only. The silver spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is also in very good condition, again with light wear. Synopsis: The story is an historical fiction based on one of the minor characters in Cervantes' Don Quixote -- Maria Isabel, Duchess of Caparroso. The Duchess falls in love with Cervantes, then believes that she has been recognizably misrepresented in his fiction.
