About This Item
MP3 Audio CD. Ward was confined after a surreptitious disaster when Woodford, an opposing rancher, appealed 600 cattle be sent within 3 days under an agreement that the 2 had filed into. The amount had before decreased and Woodford was expecting upon Ward's failure to convey to run away a loss on the agreement. Woodford had decided his moment fortunately. The herd were distant to the south over the Valley River and Ward had no preference but to request his brother, Quiller, to take the cattle. A great deal can take place on a gruesome journey as Quiller abandons his life as a child and becomes more knowledgeable as he grows older. Dwellers in the Hills contains: The October Land; The Petticoat and The Pretender; The Passing of An Illusion; Concerning Hawk Rufe; The Waggon-Maker; The Maid and The Intruders; The Master Builders; Some Remarks of Saint Paul; Christian The Blacksmith; On the Choosing of Enemies; The Wardens of the River; The Uses of the Moon; The Six Hundred; Relating to the First Liars; When Providence is Pagan; Through the Big Water; Along the Hickory Ridges; By the Light of a Lantern; The Orbit of the Dwarfs; On the Art of Going to Ruin; and The Exit of the Pretender. Melville Davisson Post was a US writer, born in Harrison County, West Virginia. However, his name is not forthwith mundane to those outside of sage societies, a number of his volumes continue to be published, and several series of detective stories containing writings by him. Melville?s most popular character is the figuring out of riddles, impartiality administering West Virginian mountaineer, Uncle Abner. The 22 Uncle Abner stories have been described as few of "the finest mysteries ever written". Melville Davisson Post was a West Virginian and he staged most of his writings in the peaks and lowlands of that country. He is a nature and animal lover particularly to horses, and his fervent scrutiny of persons, revealed in his more than 200 novels and short literature.
