Stockholm: The Ethnographical Museum of Sweden, 1948. Hardcover. xv, 220p., xi (folded doublespread maps) followed by a single gargantuan map in colors, folded neatly in a rear pocket. Text-paper and maps are on glazed alkaline stock, while endsheets and linen boards are a bit toned with some foxing to spine panel. Hardbound in 12x9 inch raw linen boards with leather spine labels, one red one green, titled and ruled gilt, very sharp except for the sprinkle of foxing, copy #605 of 700. One of the terminal doublespreads has is creased. A good to very good copy; rear pocket bears a tiny tear but the master map appears untouched. We are offering a sound clean unmarked copy. New series, publication no. 9.
