Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, Brown, and Green, London, 1825. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is sound. Green-dyed vellum spine with marbled paper over boards, 1226 pages, "illustrated with upwards of eight hundred engravings on wood by Branson". 16-page Aug. 1825 Gardener's Magazine bound-in at the beginning of the book. Title continues: "and the Cultivation and Economy of the Animal and Vegetable Productions of Agriculture, Including All the Latest Improvements; a General History of Agriculture in all Countries; and a Statistical View of its Present State, with Suggestions for Its Future Progress in the British Isles".
