Engraved steel plates of Edward Vol. I and Mary Vol, II. Very Good Plus, a few small rubs to calf, moderate toning at end papers up to title pages, old bookseller's description pasted to front end page Vol. I, the interiors clean and bright. Tytler is best known for his History of Scotland, published between 1825 and 1843. A rather uncommon title, particularly in handsome binding. . First Edition. Polished Calf. Very Good Plus/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
