Dark blue cloth boards with gilt emblem and decoration to front and lettering to spine. Binding firm with very light bumping to corners. Spine ends slightly bumped. Small dent/hole to cloth near bottom of front board. Some spotting to back board. Content clean and bright. Previous owners bookplate to front endpaper. Tonal line mark to rear endpaper Some foxing to top edge and occasional spotting to fore-edge. Jacket edges chipped with several 1 cm long tears. head of spine has 2 no. 3 cm tears. Foot of spine has a 7 cm tear along spine edge and a 2 cm tear across spine. Not ex-library. Overall a very nice copy. 287 pages.
