About This Item
South Brunswick and New York: A.S. Barnes, 1980. Book. Fine. Cloth. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. First Edition. Octavo, charcoal gray cloth covered boards with silver spine titles. Map endpapers. 277 pp. Illustrated with black and white photographs. SIGNED ON TITLE PAGE BY AUTHOR MARCIA BONTA. A personal memoir of Marcia Bonta's return to the land; specifically the mountain farm which she discovered in an isolated corner of Pennsylvania. Like Aldo Leopold, Ms. Bonta gives an authentic lyrical record of her experience of living with the land. This volume is tight and clean, with fresh cloth and sparkling spine titles. The interior is bright white, unmarked, unblemished and apparently unread. In a tight, very good dust jacket, with the dollar price-clipped but not the British price clipped. A couple of small edge nicks and a touch of rubbing. Fine in very good dust jacket. SCARCE SIGNED..
