The Easton Press, 1992. 2 vols. The Leather-Bound Library of American History. First thus; Collector's Edition. Hardcover. Issued without dust jacket. Used - Fine, "as new" condition. Front lower edge of volume I shows very slight bump. Bindings and text blocks are otherwise tight, bright, crisp, and clean with no ownership markings or bookplates. Appear unopened / unread. Bound in full (genuine) blue leather with hubbed spines. Embossed in 22kt gold on the spines and front and back covers. Heavy duty binding boards. Printed on acid-neutral, archival paper. All edges gilt. Smyth sewn with concealed muslin joints and permanent satin ribbon marker. Notes from History sheet laid in. Photo is of the set we have at Barbed Wire Books. A beautiful gift!
